What should I plant?

I have put up the start of my plans for the vegetable garden but I do have a big swath of space still.

So, dear readers, what vegetables would you suggest I grow?  OR, is there anything you’d want to see grow?  I’ll go broad with vegetables but ideally, if you know the name of the specific cultivator, that’d be best!

I would only request that the suggestions not be for tremendously gigantic (TALL) plants.  Vines on the ground are fine.

I do have some seeds I will use as back up but, in case there are even BETTER ideas out there, I would love to hear them!  It is getting close to “seedlings in the window” time, after all.
